At a Creative Woman we want everyone who really needs a Dare to Dream retreat,
to be able to afford to come on one of our splendidly rejuvenating little adventures.
We know, especially now, with the economic climate being so gloomy, just how difficult
it can be for those of us who are stretching our pennies to make ends meet, to afford
the cost. Which is why we have come up with our Retreat on a Budget - no you
can still Dare to Dream and come on one of our retreats in 2009.
(If you are feeling a bit more abundant you still have the choice of staying in our lovely
villa!)
So how do Budget Retreats work?
OK you won't get the luxury villa, the amazing space around it, and the exclusivity of
sharing a space with other Determined Dreamers, and daily lunch - but you will get
- the exact same content - workshop wise, 1:1 personal creative consultation time with
Detta, the same Deliciously Divine Day out Island Tour, and all the other goodies of
the Villa Adventure, it's just trimmed down a bit.
How it works is simple - you book your package holiday with flight & accommodation
included and we bring the Dare To Dream Retreat to you! We tried it in May and June
of this year and it worked a treat. We used the beach, the local taverna, and the
gardens of one or two lovely pool bars to deliver our workshops, our 1:1's our guided
imagery, the stretch and strolls and of course we had the magnificent Mounda Beach
for our Creativity Walks. We enjoyed midnight swims, a fabulous island tour, a
couple of gorgeous meals (included) and a beach barbecue. We took over the
Katelios Taverna for our wonderful Dreamboard Workshop and enjoyed a picnic
lunch in Fiskardo. So Retreats on a Budget work.
We can help you with your choice of package holiday. We know all the apartment
owners, where they are, what they are like and when you tell us what you are looking
for, we can advise you accordingly. You will have insider knowledge of the resort,
the people, the restaurants and of Kefalonia itself. This type of retreat is real value
for money. Below are some kinds of accommodation available. Of course the choice
is yours and you can decide which type of retreat/accommodation would suit you best.
These are just examples. As with everything there are exceptions to the rule, if you
decide to come on a Budget Retreat please do check with us first regarding your
package we are nearly always able to help you find the best deal possible.

Some example Katelios Accommodations:
Eryphilli a lovely little set of apartments surrounded by olive trees against a
backdrop of mountains - they are lovely for a relaxing break with the beach
and tavernas just a 10 minute stroll away. At the time of writing a week in
May is just over £200! Eryphilli has it's own swimming pool and pool bar - small and
lovely - and the sea is just down the road.....
Hercules is in a fabulous location on the main strip (tiny street)
of Katelios. The sea is literally across the road and the restaurant underneath.
Again at the time of writing a weeks stay in Hercules is just over £200 per person.
Add the Dare to Dream Package to this and you have a gorgeous weeks retreat on
a great budget! You could always book for two weeks and have another week
to relax, explore and renew......
Medusa is also a stone throw from the sea, beach and the rest of of
the tavernas, bars, and a couple of shops. Early morning Katelios is delightful. Take
your coffee down, sit by the sea and watch the fishermen bring the catch in before
the world is awake. I did this every morning last July before the village came to life,
and it was one of my most memorable times. Me, my coffee and my journal! Sadie
& Illia's Katelios Taverna is just down the road - she's always there early to have a
natter and make your some breakfast if you feel like some. This is a great location for
anyone on a budget.
We also offer the option of Villa Accommodation Only with the addition
of optional extras - you can choose a little or a a lot - depending on your
budget and preferences. You design your retreat exactly as you would
like it to be - a kind of DIY option!
